You Tube Error Message – Video Unavailable On This Device

Error Message: “This video is unavailable on this device”
The error message occurred shortly after we used the You Tube Editor to blur the text message on one of our uploaded You Tube Videos yesterday.

We googled and as read, we waited for about four hours to see if the issue got fixed. It didn’t go away and the error message persisted on. Then we tried to revert to the original version of the video and save the file to see if the blurring caused the problem. As of now, the issue continues on.

In the meantime, we cleared all the caches and restarted our laptop. First we thought the issue was related to our laptop only. Then we started getting the messages from the people whom we shared the above link. That’s when we realized that the issue was not with our laptop or devices but with You Tube Editor.

We are now planning to upload the same video (of course with edited text, which started the original issue 😃) and change the setting of the older one to private to see how long the glitch would take to get fixed.

We will be uploading the screenshot of the video every 8 hours until we get to see the video playing. Hopefully soon.. 🤞

The issue persists on… Today is July 14, 2021

The link started working after two days with the original version since I reverted it to the original when it gave the error message. 😃
